JOB DESCRIPTION FOR A MARKETING SPECIALIST
The Marketing Specialist will assist in planning, coordinating and executing marketing programs to support organizational objectives and will be handling three (3) businesses.
Qualifications of a Marketing Specialist:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- 3-5 years of proven working experience in digital marketing
- Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns
- Experience in content writing and development of marketing plans that work
- Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels
- Customer service, marketing, or sales experience
- Understanding of the principles of marketing
- Proficient in relevant computer applications
- Proficient in social media marketing

Your Responsibilities as a Marketing Specialist would be:
- Create a market plan for 2-3 businesses
- Create marketing goals related to client acquisition, lead generation and revenue
- Manage and provide input in /setup of a new business/rebranding/redesigning of business
- Review website, include setup/rebranding/updating website design and social media tools
- Manage social media accounts (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram etc.)
- Design and develop marketing materials for regular distribution to the marketplace
- Develop and implement strategies for new marketing and social media platforms
- Prepare content and manage direct email marketing
- Provide advice and input in how to market products and services better on an ongoing basis.
- Track, coordinate and assemble data to measure outcomes of marketing programs
